Situated 2.5 miles form Castlepollard, this lake covers an area od 86 acres. Excellent stocks of wild brown trout averaging over 2lbs. However trout weighing up to 5 & 7lbs have also been caught on Lough Glore The water is crystal clear and the trout are wild inthe extreme and are difficult to catch. Best results are usually early and late in the season with a good Green peter hatch in late July. |
